Scone with margarine - Nana's old scone recipe!
- 1 kg of flour
- 1 packet of yeast
- 1 bag of baking powder
- 4 pieces of yolk
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 5 dl of milk
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 250 g margarine
- Heat the milk, then add a packet of yeast, sugar and a teaspoon of flour, mix and let it rise.
- Pour the flour, baking powder and salt into the mixing bowl and mix. Add the egg yolk and the risen yeast, then knead the dough and leave it in a warm place for 10 minutes to rise.
- In the meantime, grease the pan with margarine, and beat the remaining margarine, then divide into three parts.
- Roll out the dough on a floured board, spread it with a third of the margarine, fold it over on all sides, and let it stand for 5 minutes. Repeat the procedure two more times.
- Spread the dough in a pan, spread with a little remaining margarine and bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
