Whey scones.
Whey cake, ingredients:
- 600 g of wholemeal flour,
- 100 g of corn flour,
- 300 g of white flour,
- 600 ml of whey,
- 1 dl of oil,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar and
- 40 g of fresh yeast.
Cake with whey, preparation:
- Mix all three types of flour and add salt.
- Add sugar and crushed yeast to a cup of lukewarm whey, then let the yeast activate.
Add oil, whey and added yeast to the flour, then knead the dough. - cover the kneaded dough (I covered the dough with a plastic bag) and let it grow. Place the risen dough on a work surface sprinkled with flour and knead it.
- Grease a round pan, sprinkle a little flour and transfer the dough to rest for about half an hour.
- Heat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the scone until it is baked.
