Whey cake - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Whey scones.

Whey cake, ingredients:

  • 600 g of wholemeal flour,
  • 100 g of corn flour,
  • 300 g of white flour,
  • 600 ml of whey,
  • 1 dl of oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar and
  • 40 g of fresh yeast.

Cake with whey, preparation:

  • Mix all three types of flour and add salt.
  • Add sugar and crushed yeast to a cup of lukewarm whey, then let the yeast activate.
    Add oil, whey and added yeast to the flour, then knead the dough.
  • cover the kneaded dough (I covered the dough with a plastic bag) and let it grow. Place the risen dough on a work surface sprinkled with flour and knead it.
  • Grease a round pan, sprinkle a little flour and transfer the dough to rest for about half an hour.
  • Heat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the scone until it is baked.
