Cake with lard.
Cake with lard, ingredients:
- 650 g of flour,
- 5 tablespoons of lard,
- 2 eggs,
- 250 ml of lukewarm milk,
- 20 g of fresh yeast,
- 1 teaspoon of salt and
- half a teaspoon of sugar.
To coat:
- 1 egg yolk,
- linseed,
- sesame...
Cake with lard, preparation:
- Mix the yeast and sugar in lukewarm milk, with the addition of a little flour, and let it stand for about 10 minutes.
- Beat one whole egg, one yolk and 3 tablespoons of fat.
- Add salt, flour and prepared yeast, then knead a smooth dough.
- Let it rest for about 45 minutes.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, spread it with two tablespoons of fat and roll it up.
- Cut into rolls, grease the pan and sprinkle with flour.
- Arrange the rolls, coat with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds, flax...
- Let it rest for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven until nicely browned.
