Scones with cinnamon - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Cinnamon scones.

Cinnamon scones, ingredients:

  • 250 ml of milk,
  • 40 g of yeast,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 1 dl of oil,
  • 3 spoons of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of salt and
  • 500 g of flour.

For sprinkling, cinnamon.

Scones with cinnamon, preparation:

  • Add crushed yeast, a teaspoon of sugar and flour to lukewarm milk. Leave ten minutes for the yeast to rise.
  • Add oil, sour cream, flour and salt to the milk. Leave it for about thirty minutes for the dough to rise.
  • Divide the resulting dough into 8 parts.
  • Shape each part into a ball and cut across the surface with a knife. Transfer the shaped scones to a tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the surface of the scones with a little cinnamon. Let them rise while the oven heats up.
  • Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees until they are baked.
