Fried meatballs with horseradish sauce, ingredients:
- 500 g of minced pork,
- 1 egg,
- 3 slices of stale bread,
- a teaspoon of salt,
- half a teaspoon of ground pepper,
- a teaspoon of allspice,
- 2-3 cloves of garlic,
- grease or cooking oil,
- 2 eggs for frying i
- some flour.
For horseradish sauce you need:
- 2 tablespoons of fat,
- 2 spoons of flour,
- 3 tablespoons of horseradish from a jar,
- I know i
- 4 dl of water.
Fried meatballs with horseradish sauce, preparation:
- Soak old bread in water to soften it.
- Put minced meat, egg, softened crumbled bread, salt, pepper, allspice and chopped garlic in a bowl and mix everything well, so that the mass is even.
- Take part of the resulting mass, roll it in flour and make muffins.
- Heat the fat for frying and beat the eggs into which add a little salt.
- Roll the meatballs in flour, then in eggs and put in hot oil.
- When one side of the meatball is baked, turn the other side of the meatball and cover with a lid so that the meatballs are baked inside.
When the meatballs are baked, make the horseradish sauce:
- Put the fat in the pan to heat up.
- Add 2 tablespoons of flour to the flour and mix until it is dispersed a little.
- Add water, horseradish and salt and stir to thicken the sauce.
- Since the horseradish from the jar is already sour, try it and if the sauce is a little more sour, add half a teaspoon of sugar.
Fried meatballs and served with horseradish sauce with mashed potatoes or boiled rice.
