Twenty-five years old Ognjen Petrović, the son of the deceased Serbian journalist Zoran Petrović Piroćanac, suffers from Hodgkin's lymphoma, a type of curable cancer. For treatment in Germany, it is necessary to collect 135.000 euros.
After he was diagnosed with the disease in 2014, Ognjen went through several types of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in Serbia, but they were not effective. The only possibility is to continue treatment in St. Franziskus Hospital in Flensburg (Germany), where, in addition to appropriate therapy, he will undergo a stem cell transplant.
Ognjen's family, friends and citizens have so far collected 40.000 euros for immunotherapy, which he began receiving in Germany in January, however, for the costs of the transplant, which should take place in April, living expenses and accommodation, it is necessary to collect another 135.000 euros.
