According to an ancient recipe from more than 100 years ago, it burns is made from old proja bread, and sometimes from wheat.

Crumble the stale bread into the cooking pot, using the hardest, dried pieces, the crust. Cover with water, add salt and put on fire to cook. It is necessary to constantly stir, so that the mass does not burn. When the mass forms a slurry, add a teaspoon of fat or cream, and if you don't have either, then add milk.

Popara was ready for the children for breakfast.

You can bake it a little in the oven, and some white cheese can also be served with it.
