Posna bajadera - Danijela Žikić - Recipes and Cookbook online

Lean bajadera is a must on my table for Christmas Eve.

Lean bajadera, ingredients:

  • 400 g of sugar
  • 10 tablespoons of water
  • 2 bars of cooking chocolate
  • 200 g of ground biscuits (lean)
  • 150 g of ground walnuts
  • 2 oranges

Frosting:

  • 4 spoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 100 g of chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons of oil

Lean bajadera, preparation:

  • Add sugar and water. When it boils, cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the stove and cool the syrup.
  • Add biscuits, nuts and squeezed orange juice. Mix it up. Divide the mass into two parts.
  • Add melted chocolate (2 bars) to the first part. The second part remains the same.
  • Put self-adhesive foil on the tray. Spread the first part of the mass. Nice shape. Put the second part of the mass on top. Shape. Leave to set.

Frosting:

  • Put sugar and water, when it boils, cook for about 5 minutes. Add oil and chocolate. Pour over the bajadera.
  • Leave to set. Cut into bars and serve!
