Lean green beans - quick to prepare, an excellent accompaniment to meat or fish. And it can be an independent meal.
- 500 g green beans (young, "pencil" type)
- 1 piece of onion
- 0,5 dl oil
- dry herbal spice
- tomato juice (or fresh tomatoes)
- garlic
- dill
- Clean the green beans and cut them into short pieces.
- Fry the chopped onion on the onion and add the washed green beans.
- The green beans should be moist so they don't stick to the bottom.
- Add dry herbal seasoning and a little water, just to soak it, and stew the green beans for 30 minutes at a medium temperature.
- If the green beans are young, they will be soft after that time, and finally add finely chopped garlic, spices and tomato juice or fresh tomatoes.
- Simmer everything a little more.
- The dish is thick and does not have a lot of liquid.
Yellow pencil green beans are best for this dish. Serve it warm or cold.
