The time is glorious, and soon the Christmas fast will begin, the right time to enrich your table with some new appetizer. It can be part of the celebratory service, and you can also make your household happy. This time I chose 2 warm and 2 cold fast appetizers.

 

BAKED MUSHROOMS

ingredients:

  • 500 g of larger mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 0,5 dl oil
  • 100 g of vegetable cheese
  • optional herbs, pepper and parsley

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Clean the champignons and separate the stems from the caps.
  • Fry the onion and finely chopped stalks in oil and season as desired.
  • Grease the baking tray with a little oil, arrange the mushrooms and fill each hole in the hat with the filling.
  • Bake in the oven at 250 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Take it out of the oven and put grated cheese over each little hat, put it back in the oven and bake it for about 5 minutes.

LEAN PIE WITH MUSHROOMS

Ingredients :

  • 500 g pie crust
  • 400 g of mushrooms
  • 1 leek
  • a little oil
  • pepper, salt or herbal seasoning if desired
  • 100 g of lean vegetable cheese

Topping:

  • 1 dl of water
  • 1 dl oil
  • 1/2 bag of baking powder

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Sauté washed, cleaned and chopped champignons together with chopped leeks in a little oil.
  • Season to taste, remove from the heat and stir in 100 g of grated vegetable cheese.
  • Prepare the topping by boiling water and oil, cooling and adding baking powder.
  • Grease the tray with oil and stack the pie, make triangles: spray each crust with the topping, fold in half, spray and fold in half again. You will get a long strip, at the end of which you put a spoonful of filling and bend the edges to make a triangle.
  • Heat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pie until it is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, cover with a dry cloth and leave to cool for 30 minutes.

QUICK POTATO SALAD

ingredients:

  • 3-4 medium potatoes
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 100 g pickles
  • 2 pickled carrots (pickled)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • red onion or leek if desired

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Boil potatoes in their skins, clean them, mash coarsely.
  • Drain the tuna from the oil, or you can add it too, and combine it all. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add finely chopped pickles, carrots and onions, mix everything well and serve chilled.

LENT RUSSIAN SALAD

Salad ingredients:

  • 500 g of boiled boneless fish (catfish, hake)
  • 500 g of mixed mixture for Russian salad
  • 5 pieces of pickles

Ingredients for lean mayonnaise:

  • 1/2 l of water
  • 1 spoon of herbal spice
  • 3 spoons of pulp (30g)
  • 1 dl of oil
  • 1/2 lemon - juice
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Boil the fish and clean it from the bones and cut it into smaller pieces.
  • Cook and cool the vegetables.
  • Finely chop the cucumbers and combine with the previous ingredients.
  • Add salt if desired.
  • Put water to boil with herbal seasoning.
  • When it boils, water is poured over 3 spoons of the thickener and it is returned to the stove to cook until the mixture thickens. This is done like this so that no lumps form.
  • When the mass thickens, remove it from the heat and beat it with a mixer while adding oil drop by drop.
  • Add lemon juice and mustard and mix everything well.
  • Pour this mayonnaise over the vegetables and fish, mix everything well and leave it in the refrigerator to cool down.
