Lenten pancakes (for water fasting), ingredients:
For the mixture:
- 250 g of flour,
- 250 ml of water,
- 1 level teaspoon of baking powder,
- 1 pinch of salt.
To coat:
- if necessary, jam
Lenten pancakes (for fasting on water), preparation:
- Pour flour into a suitable container, add baking powder, salt and mix.
- Then add lukewarm water and mix well with a hand whisk to avoid lumps.
- Heat the pan, pour the prepared mixture with a ladle and bake the pancakes on moderate heat (check to make sure they are nicely baked).
- Put them on a plate, spread them hot with jam, roll them up and serve.
Preparation time: 40 minutes
