Lenten dried peppers stuffed with beans.

Lenten dried peppers stuffed with beans, ingredients:

  • 10 dry sweet peppers
  • 300 g of broad beans
  • 4 onions
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 small leek
  • spices (salt, pepper, dill, allspice, dry herb seasoning, bay leaf)
  • if necessary, oil and water

Lean dry peppers stuffed with beans, preparation:

  • Wash the beans in several waters. Pour enough to cover and leave overnight to swell.
  • The next day, boil the beans, pour the first water. Pour clean water and cook as needed until cooked.
  • Finely chop the onion, garlic and leek.
  • Fry the onion with the addition of salt in the heated oil. When it acquires a glassy color, add the leek. Add bay leaves. Stir to fry well.
  • At the end, add garlic. Mix it up.
  • Add spices and allspice. Fry hot beans. Leave it on board.
  • Cool the beans. Wash the dried peppers in warm water and stuff them.
  • Arrange the dried peppers in a pot, pour water (enough to soak, not too much), add salt and cook for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve hot or cold peppers to taste.
