Lenten vanillas - Lenten vanillas with rum and cinnamon. They smell like the holidays.

For the dough

  • 100 g sugar (powdered)
  • 200 g margarine (finely chopped or grated)
  • 300 g flour (soft, type 400)

For charging

  • 1 jar of marmalade (or jam, of choice)
  • 2 teaspoons rum extract

Spices

  • vanilla sugar
  • cinnamon
  1. Combine all dry ingredients, add chopped margarine and knead the dough (it is recommended to add vanilla sugar and cinnamon to the dough).
  2. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of water (if the dough cannot be kneaded well).
  3. Pack the dough in a bag and keep it in the fridge for about half an hour.
  4. Roll it out thin - about 3 mm thick, sprinkle it with vanilla sugar and cinnamon, pat it down, cut the desired shapes and bake at 150-160 degrees for a maximum of 10 minutes.
  5. Combine marmalade and rum and combine two biscuits each.
  6. The next day, roll the vanilla beans in powdered sugar (which you flavored with vanilla), but only around the edges (not the whole).
