Low-fat banana cookies - healthy, great-tasting low-fat cookies that only need 4 ingredients to make.

  • 3 pieces of banana (smaller, about 200 g peeled)
  • 100 g of oatmeal
  • 50 g oat bran (or peanut, almond, hazelnut, coconut, sesame...)
  • 50 g of dried grapes (or dried cranberries, blueberries, chokeberries, figs, dates, chocolate chips...)
  • 15 pieces of hazelnuts (whole)
  1. Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork.
  2. Add oat bran, oat flakes and raisins and mix them well. If the dough is too much, add more oatmeal. I didn't sweeten it additionally because there was no need for it, and if you think that according to your taste you should add honey, stevia, fructose. Bananas and raisins have enough sweetness, at least for my taste.
  3. I scooped out the mixture with a spoon and made balls with my hands, and yes, the mixture was soft, but it could be shaped nicely because it didn't stick to my hands.

  4. Place the balls in a tray lined with baking paper. Press them a little to the thickness you want, so that they resemble biscuits. Place a whole hazelnut in the middle of each one and press it down a little to make it fit nicely with the cookies.
  5. Put the biscuits in a heated oven at 200 degrees C to bake. That's about 10 minutes until golden brown. I used hot air during baking, if your oven has that option, if not it doesn't matter that much.

  6. Remove the cookies from the oven, cool and serve as a dessert or a meal for breakfast or dinner with a beverage of your choice.

If desired, vanilla and cinnamon can be added.
When you eat the cookies, you get the impression that there are nuts inside and not oatmeal and bran, so if you are skeptical about the taste, feel free to make them because they are amazing. Neither fewer ingredients nor more beautiful biscuits.
