Lean minions are modeled after raspberry cubes. The crusts are identical, but the filling is different.

Lean minions, crust ingredients:

  • 120 g of sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 dl of water
  • 100 g margarine
  • 3 spoons of marmalade
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Lean minions, filling ingredients:

  • 150 g of sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 dl of water
  • 100 g of chocolate
  • grated zest of half an orange
  • 125 g margarine
  • 150 g of ground walnuts
  • 150 g of ground biscuits
  • 3-4 tablespoons of apricot jam

Preparation of the crust:

  • Boil water, sugars, margarine and marmalade.
  • Mix the dry ingredients and add them to the cooled mixture that you boiled.
  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Pack the dough in a bag and put it in the fridge for an hour (sometimes I develop the crusts right away).
  • Divide it into three parts, roll out crusts with frame dimensions of 20 x 30 and bake them in a heated oven at 150 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  • It is important not to overbake the skins, they are soft while warm, then they are firm.
  • I bake them on baking paper.

Preparation of the filling:

  • Boil water and sugars, then add chocolate, margarine and orange peel.
  • Cook over low heat until all the soy sauce is combined.
  • Add biscuits, nuts and jam to the cooled mixture.
  • Fill the crusts with lukewarm filling.
  • Leave everything to harden nicely in the refrigerator, then cut into cubes and dip in the chocolate glaze.

This quantity requires 200-300 g of chocolate. Decorate the minions as desired. You can make different flavors in the same way.

Most often I make this combination, with rum and raisins and with hazelnuts. Also, you can make the filling only from nuts or only from biscuits, as you like. There are quite a few possibilities.

PS I made the minions several times until I wrote the recipe. This ratio of ingredients is just right.
