Umes Muki, honorary ambassador of the UNESCO Club at the Sorbonne and

founder of the international organization "Institute for Sustainable Leadership"

Lecture topic: The impact of innovations on social entrepreneurship. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 18 p.m., Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration, Singidunum University, Bulevar Zorana Đinđić 44.

He is the founder of the international organization Institute for Sustainable Leadership, which aims to find new leadership knowledge and skills necessary to solve the challenges of the 21st century. During his career, he actively deals with youth issues. He was awarded the Tesla Silver Coin for his contributions in the field of youth issues. He was awarded the title Honorary Cross of Ambassador of UNESCO Club at Sorbonne University.

 

Mr. Muki's lecture is held within the project School of business skills, which is organized by student organization Network for Business Development in partnership with Embassy of the United States of America in Serbia. The project aims to to provide young people with knowledge and skills that they do not encounter during regular education, and all in order to reduce unemployment and to improve and make better use of the intellectual potential of young people in the country. Some of the topics dealt with by the School of Business Skills are: entrepreneurship, leadership, diplomatic relations, communication, public relations, teamwork, psychology of success, business ethics, human rights, local development, democracy. Numerous domestic and foreign lecturers participated in the project, such as: Dr. John Lennox (professor from Oxford University), Dr. Jurgen Spies (Director of the Institute for Humanities), Vanja Udovicic (Minister of Youth and Sports in the Government of Serbia), Guy Djoken ( executive director of the UNESCO Center for Peace from Washington), Uve Fredheim (general manager of Telenor in Serbia), H.E. Nils Ragnar Kamsvag (Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Serbia), Dragana Roter (Head of Corporate Communications at Vip Mobile) and many others. The new season started with a lecture by the winner Nobel Peace Prize 2003, Dr. Shirin Ebadi of Iran, which was held on October 22, 2014 in Belgrade.
