Topped pie with cheese – I saw sour cream in the fridge, so it occurred to me to make something salty, but what?! I was missing eggs and it was raining. I still went out to buy them. I thought I would make a splash, but in a moment I changed my mind.

Topped pie with cheese - I saw sour cream in the fridge, so it occurred to me to make something savory, but what?! The taste of a pie prepared this way is different than when all the ingredients are combined immediately.

  • 2 eggs (larger)
  • 2 dl sour cream
  • 1 cup flour (from 2 dl)
  • 0,33 cups of wheat semolina
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 0,5 teaspoons of salt

For topping:

  • 1 piece of egg
  • 200 g of feta cheese
  • 1 dl of sour water
  1. First, turn on the oven at 200 degrees.
  2. Line a 27 cm diameter mold with baking paper.
  3. For the dough, mix all the listed ingredients and pour them into the mold.

  4. Bake for ten minutes, in a heated oven.

For dressing

  1. For the topping, beat the egg, cheese and sparkling water.

  2. Remove the mold from the oven, prick the dough with a fork, pour over the pre-whipped mixture and bake for about 15 minutes.

The taste of a pie prepared in this way is different than when all the ingredients are combined immediately. Don't forget that the shape and appearance give flavor to the food.

You can add spices of your choice to the dough and/or filling.
