Zoran Modli

As Radio Laguna announced, Zoran Modli died today in Belgrade. A great friend of the Recipes and Kuvar online portal and a member of the Council of the Dough, Pasta and Bread Festival TESTIVAL.

Zoran Modli was born on April 22, 1948 in Zemun. He started his career as a disc jockey in the seventies of the twentieth century in Belgrade discotheques.

He released the record "Zoran Modly and the Flying Disco" and was the editor of a column in the music magazine "Jukebox". At the beginning of 1975, Modli and Boro Đorđević founded the group "Hajduk Stanko i jataci", in which he was a singer, but they only had two singles.

He was a very popular radio host during the eighties when he had the show "Ventilator 202" until 1987. After that, he devotes himself more to the career of a pilot of passenger planes.

Modli started the show "Modulations" on the then newly established radio "Penguin" in May 1993.

Since 2000, he has been running the show "ZAIR" (The Law of Action and Reaction), which was broadcast for a year on Radio Belgrade 202, then on Radio Laguna in Belgrade and on several independent radio stations in Serbia and the region.

Given that he also worked as a professional pilot and flight instructor, Modly also wrote books aimed at popularizing the pilot's call, a total of seven.

Personal message:

My (our) dear friend, Zoran Modli, has completed his last flight in the expanses of the Kingdom of Heaven. My dear, we will meet in a better place, with all our loved ones, who left us too soon.

Rest in peace, Captain Modley.
