Priganice. I have a twin sister and we both loved our grandmother very much, who regularly welcomed us from school with prepared "priganicas". I wrote down the recipe and often prepare it for my family. Do not fry them in oil, they are tastier and softer when fried in lard.

Preparations, ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 500 g of flour,
  • 250 ml of water,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 20 g of fresh yeast,
  • 50 ml of oil.

For frying:

  • lard, if necessary

Priganice, preparation:

For the dough:

  • Crumble the yeast in 100 ml of lukewarm water, add sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, mix and leave to rise.
  • Pour the flour into a deep bowl, add the added yeast, the remaining warm water (150 ml), salt, pour oil and knead the dough.
  • Cover with a clean kitchen towel and leave to rise.
  • Knead the resulting dough on a floured work surface and divide it into three noodles.
  • Use a rolling pin to roll out each noodle into a larger circle.
  • Cut each circle into 6 triangles.
  • Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
  • Place on kitchen paper to drain excess fat.

About the recipe: serve with cheese, ajvar, prosciutto...
