Princess Donuts - Vesna Pavlović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Cream puffs.

Princess donuts, ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 250 ml water,
  • 125 ml oil,
  • 2 spoons of sugar,
  • 150 g of flour,
  • 4 eggs.

For the filling:

  • 800 ml milk,
  • 4 egg yolks,
  • 250 g of sugar,
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar,
  • 130 g of flour,
  • 125 g of butter.

For sprinkling:

  • if necessary, powdered sugar.

Princess donuts, preparation:

For the dough:

  • Pour water into a pan, add oil, sugar and put the pan on fire.
  • When it boils, remove the pan from the heat, add the flour and mix with a hand whisk. Leave to stand for 2 minutes.
  • Beat with a mixer, then add eggs and beat everything well with a mixer.
  • Cover the tray with parchment paper.
  • Fill the cake decorating syringe with the prepared mixture and press the donuts onto the parchment paper.
  • Bake in a well-heated oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the finished donuts from the oven and let them cool down.

Preparation of the filling:

  • Pour 500 ml of milk into the pan and put it on the fire to boil.
  • Beat egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour separately with a mixer, add 300 ml of milk and mix.
  • Pour the mixture into the boiling milk and cook with constant stirring. When it gets the required thickness, remove the pan from the stove, cover with transparent cling film and let it cool down.
  • Add butter to the cold mixture and beat well with a mixer.
  • Cut the cooled donuts in half and fill them with filling. Sprinkle the donuts with powdered sugar, serve and serve.
