Proja with nettle - any dish prepared with nettle is healthy, and even with the addition of various seeds and the mixing of several types of flour.

  • 1 cup of cornmeal
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3 spoons of ground flax
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 0,5 teaspoons of pepper
  • 3 pieces of egg
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 3 spoons of sour cream
  • 100 gr. of cheese
  • 200 gr. nettles
  • 1 onion
  • 1 piece of carrot
  1. Peel and grate the carrot, finely chop the onion.
  2. Wash the nettle well, blanch and finely chop.
  3. Mix both types of flour, baking powder, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs, add yogurt, sour cream and cheese. Add carrot, onion and nettle to the mixture. Then gently mix the dry ingredients into the mixture.
  5. Cover the baking tray with baking paper and pour the mixture. Bake for 20-25 min. at 200 degrees.
