The promotion of the book Traditional recipes of domestic Serbian cuisine will be held in Topola at the library of Radoje Domanović, Kraljice Marije 4 at 19 p.m.
The Radoje Domanović Library in Topola today has a collection of around 40.000 books. Library materials are increased by purchases, purchases by the Ministry of Culture and gifts from individuals, institutions and publishers. The Library houses the legacy of Dušan Baraniv, the Dana and Pavla Ristić Teacher Fund from Topola, as well as Svetlana Bajić, the director of TV Belgrade. The library has an extremely valuable native collection, which stores books from the rich history of our region, even a number of books from the personal library of King Peter I and King Alexander I. The works of native writers are also represented in this fund. The library collects, preserves and provides old and rare books for use in the reading room. The oldest book in this fund is Chaslov from 1854.
Library director Slađana Mitrović, professional chef Dejan Ilić, Kristina Gašpar and author of the book Miodrag Ilić will speak at the promotion.
