Book promotion Traditional recipes of Serbian cuisine Miodrag Ilić will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 19 p.m. in the Atrium of the Zrenjanin National Museum.
This extremely well-equipped book was created during one year of extensive research by the author Miodrag Ilić and presents a collection of recipes for preparing meals from all over Serbia. The ultimate goal of the entire research was to publish a book about traditional recipes and traditional cuisine, which everyone could read and gain, at least a basic picture, of the food culture in Serbia. The ethnologist curators of the Zrenjanin National Museum supported the creation of this capital edition in their own way. The sponsor of the book is the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
The participants of the program will be the author Miodrag Ilić and his collaborators during the collection of material for the book: Dragana Ilić, Kristina Gašpar, Bojan Marinkov, Dejan Ilić Prof. Dr. Slađana Šobajić.
Flipping through the book, reading the recipes, you will almost feel the smell of these freshly prepared and delicious dishes, and I hope that you will want to prepare some of these dishes for yourself and your loved ones, and thus, together with Miodrag Ilić, take a step towards preserving the local culinary tradition from oblivion".

The flavors and aromas of traditional Banat cuisine will be evoked by the delicacies that will be prepared for this occasion, according to recipes from Ilić's cookbook, by the members of the Centar 023 Citizens' Association.
