Stuffed peppers in a slightly different way

  • 15 pieces of paprika (peeled)
  • 400 g champignons (finely chopped)
  • 1,5 kg of meat (minced, half beef, half pork)
  • 1 large onion (finely chopped)
  • 100 grams of rice
  • 1 liter of boiled tomatoes
  • 1 piece of egg
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • seasoning (to taste)
  • 200 g smoked bacon (chopped)
  • 1 spoon of fat
  • 500 ml of water
  1. Chop the onion and smoked bacon.
    Put the fat in the frying pan, and when it is hot, add the onion and bacon.
    After five minutes of stewing, add chopped mushrooms.
    Season and simmer everything together for five minutes.
    Then add minced meat, season if necessary and simmer for about ten minutes.
    Add the rice, mix and remove from the pan.
    Knead one egg.
    Clean the peppers from the seeds and fill them with the prepared mixture.
    Arrange them in a deep pot, pour boiled tomatoes and water.
    Let it cook for about 90 minutes.
