Stuffed buns - the preparation of this delicious pastry is very simple - dough of your choice, filling of your choice. It can't fail.
You can prepare the yeast dough as follows (for 15 pieces):
- 500 g of flour,
- 2,5 dl of water/milk,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 2 teaspoons of sugar,
- 3-4 tablespoons of oil,
- 2-3 spoons of sour cream,
- 1/2 yeast.
Knead the dough in the usual way. When it has risen, roll it out into as long a rectangle as possible and spread it with soft butter/margarine/fat and roll it up.
Cut into pieces about 8 cm long and shape into buns - by rolling the ends.
Leave them to stand for about 15 minutes, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with seeds, cut in the middle, dissolve and fill.
I filled half with spinach, cheese and blue cheese (somewhere I added red beans).
Second half – tomatoes, olives, oregano, pepperoni, tea sausage, cheese.
Leave them to rest for about half an hour and bake for 15 minutes at 220 degrees.
I found inspiration in the bakery. I bought a similarly made vegetarian sandwich. These buns look like Turkish pizza, but also boats.
Note: I always use less yeast and knead the dough in the evening for the morning.
