Stuffed peppers.

Stuffed peppers, ingredients:

For the filling:

  • 600 g of minced meat,
  • if necessary oil,
  • 3 heads of onion,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • spices to taste (salt, pepper and dry spices),
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika,
  • 2 tomatoes,
  • 50 g of rice,
  • 1 carrot.

To seal the peppers:

  • tomatoes if necessary.

For a splash:

  • if necessary oil,
  • 2 spoons of flour,
  • 400 ml of water,
  • 200 ml of pureed tomatoes,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar.

And more:

  • 8 bell peppers.

Stuffed peppers, preparation:

For the filling:

  • Fry the finely chopped onion in hot oil.
  • Add grated carrot, washed, peeled and chopped tomatoes, finely chopped garlic and fry.
  • Stir in the minced meat and fry.
  • Add rice and fry briefly.
  • Season to taste (salt, pepper and mix in dry spices).
  • Add the sweet paprika and mix to combine the ingredients.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and let the filling cool.
  • Wash the bell peppers well, remove the stems and seeds and stuff them with the prepared stuffing.
  • Wash the tomatoes, cut them into rings and cover the peppers with them.
  • Pour water into the pan in which the peppers will be baked and arrange the prepared peppers.
  • Cover them with aluminum foil and bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for an hour.

For a splash:

  • Fry the flour in heated oil, add water, pureed tomatoes, sugar and mix so that the ingredients are combined.
  • Take the tray out of the oven, remove the foil and cover the peppers with the spray.
  • Return the tray to the oven, but do not cover with foil.
  • Bake for another 30 minutes at 180 degrees (reduce the temperature if necessary so that the peppers do not burn).

Greasy food

Tip: you can use mixed minced meat or pork - of your choice. Instead of oil, you can use lard (and I sometimes use it instead of oil), it makes the peppers tastier. Pleasant!
