Stuffed Zucchini - Jelica Podraščanin - Recipes and Cookbook online

Stuffed zucchini.

Stuffed zucchini, ingredients:

  • 4 pieces of larger zucchini for filling,
  • 500 g of minced pork (or half pork and half beef mixed),
  • 1 cup of 2 dl rice,
  • 2 onions,
  • 1 grated carrot,
  • celery or parsley leaf,
  • so,
  • allspice, half a spoon,
  • pepper a small teaspoon,
  • water,
  • 2 dl of pureed tomatoes.

For a thick sauce, you need 3 spoons of flour, half a spoon of allspice and water.

Stuffed zucchini, preparation:

  • Clean the zucchini and cut each into 3 parts and hollow out each part so that the bottom remains.
  • Make the filling by putting minced meat, cleaned and diced onion, chopped celery leaf, salt, pepper, allspice and rice in a deep dish and mix everything well.
  • Fill the zucchini with the resulting filling and line a deep pan and pour water to cover the zucchini.
  • Put to cook.
  • When the tilkvices are cooked, add the pureed tomatoes and, if necessary, a little water and salt and let it boil.
  • Put 3 spoons of flour and half a spoon of allspice in a bowl and add a little water, then whisk everything so that there are no lumps and pour it into the pan and let it boil for a few minutes so that the broth becomes thicker almost like a sauce.
