Stuffed leeks, a light and tasty dish.

Stuffed leeks, ingredients:

  • 2 thick leek waists
  • 50 g of parboiled rice
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 onion
  • 250 g of minced meat
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste
  • 200 ml of neutral cream for dressing

Stuffed leeks, preparation:

  • Wash the leeks, cut them in half and cut the leeks in half.
  • Pour water and a teaspoon of salt into a large pot, when the water boils, briefly blanch the leeks.
  • Pour cold water over the blanched leeks.
  • Fry onion in oil in a pan, add meat and spices, then simmer. When the meat changes color, add the rice. Stir and remove from the heat.
  • Put a spoonful of filling on the leek leaves and twist them into triangles, like Greek baklava.
  • Arrange the leeks in the pan.
  • Pour over neutral sour cream and water, cover with aluminum foil and bake at 200 degrees.
