Butter rolls - an old-fashioned recipe for savory butter rolls, and you can always use it for a sweet version.

  • 0,5 kg of flour
  • fresh yeast (a little)
  • 200 g of water (cold)
  • sea ​​salt (a little)
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 250 g of butter
  1. Mix a little yeast in half a kilogram of flour, add 200 g of cold water, a little salt, 100 g of sugar and knead the dough. Make the dough well. Thin out the dough, roll it out and make a square shape.
  2. Take 250 g of butter, melt it a little and put it in the middle of the developed dough. Fold the dough by taking one side and folding it in half, then the opposite side, also, fold it in half. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough again and fold it again in the same way. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough and now fold it into 4 parts. Take from one side, fold to a quarter, then to half. On the opposite side, also fold to a quarter, then to half. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut it into triangles. Roll the triangles into rolls.
  6. Bake at 180 C until the rolls turn golden yellow.
