Snails with jam - Ivana Pešić
- 10 thin pie crusts
- 1 cube of fresh yeast
- 2,5 dl of milk
- a bit of salt
- 6 tablespoons of flour
- 100 g margarine
- jam
- Combine lukewarm milk, yeast, flour, a pinch of salt and grated margarine in a bowl. Beat well so that there are no lumps and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Take one crust and use a chef's brush to coat it with the yeast mixture. Then apply the jam along one side, roll it up and roll it into a circle to get the appearance of a creeper. In the same way, from the remaining material, shape more snails.
- Cover the pan with baking paper, arrange the rolls, coat them with the remaining yeast mixture. Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees until they are golden brown.
