Last year 2014 was colorful - in all areas of our lives.
But the colorfulness of our tables left the biggest mark on the Recipes & Kuvar online portal.
From March, when the portal published its first post, to December 2014, the number of pages doubled. A rich table full of various delicacies - new and original recipes, interviews, recommendations, tips, news from the gastronomic world, menu suggestions for the whole week, macrobiotics from the pen of Cvijeta Mesić...
And the guests at this colorful table were more and more numerous. And in the last month of 2014, the total number of visits exceeded 110.000. December recorded the largest increase in guests, because - it was celebrated, and when it is celebrated, it is always done with a full table.
The reason why the owners, members and friends of the Recipes & Kuvar online portal gathered at the renowned Zira Hotel on January 22nd was to give awards to the amateur chefs who selflessly shared their recipes with the visitors of the Recipes & Kuvar online portal and to be declared the Best recipes of the year.
And the first lady at the table was Ivana Pešić, whose recipe is Djuvec with drumsticks viewed the most times. Right next to her, another lady, Ana Vuletić, took care of the dessert, with the recipe Cake with apricot jam, which was also awarded a special diploma for the largest number of unique reviews in 2014. The third lady, Marija Mirković, is her own Creamy hazelnut cake she reminded us all how hard it is to resist sweets.
Special diplomas were also awarded to all the selected recipes that received the flattering title of Recipe of the Week or the Month in 2014. Zira hotel i Metalac dishes were this year's sponsors of the award ceremony, and a longer list is expected next year, because - in the new year 2015, a new table is set.
"At the new table, we expect a much larger number of guests. Our new table and kitchen will look a little different now, the redesign is already underway... On the stoves of our new kitchen, we expect even more good chefs who will share their knowledge with us.
We have already cooperated with Toni Radić, a renowned world-renowned creative and innovative chef and specialist in healthy food...
There will be news in the way of selecting the best recipes, and for the Recipe of the Year we are preparing something completely different and new, because... That is our goal - to be original and different from all existing portals with a gastronomic theme..." - said Miodrag Ilić, owner of the Recipes portal. & Cook online.
