This year I decided to try some ideas from the internet for egg painting and I succeeded in that.

Successfully dyed eggs in all shades of blue eggs, dyed in purple cabbage, then, colorful eggs dyed steamed with edible cake colors, then, dyed eggs in purple bulb and finally, the hit of this year, white wine, turmeric and saffron.

Dyeing eggs with purple cabbage

Chop 500 g of purple cabbage in a saucepan, arrange the eggs, pour 1 liter of water and the juice of 1 lemon. Boil the eggs for 15 minutes. Then, take glasses, put 2 eggs in each glass and pour the liquid in which they were cooked. Let them stand, some less and some longer, and you will get 5 shades of blue. Coat the eggs with a little oil.

Steam dyeing of eggs

Put the beaten eggs in a pot with holes. Then, put the pot with the holes on top of the pot of boiling water. Pour the squeezed lemon juice over the eggs and put edible cake coloring powder over the eggs. Cover the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes so that the color is nicely distributed over the eggs. Coat the cooled eggs with a little oil.

Painting an egg in a bulb

Classic and traditional coloring of eggs in the bulb. Mix the skins of black and purple onions. Place eggs in a pan and cover with onion peel. Pour water and cook for 15 min. Leave the eggs in the water for another 15 minutes. Cool the eggs and brush with a little oil.

Dyeing eggs in white wine with the addition of saffron and turmeric

A hit this year in my kitchen are eggs cooked in white wine with the addition of saffron and turmeric

Put the eggs in a pan. Pour white wine. Add a bag of turmeric and a bag of saffron. Cook for 15 minutes and let the eggs cool. The result of this method of painting is shiny crystals on the eggs and a wonderful orange color. Coat the cooled eggs with a little oil.
