The London restaurant "Tea Terrace" has decided to put an end to this practice by banning guests from using mobile phones during lunch.
In this restaurant, guests leave their mobile phones in a small box on the table, which is locked, and no one knows the combination to unlock it, except for the staff.
The box in which the phone was left does not open even for the purposes of taking pictures of food and posting photos on "Instagram".
- Simply, we want to bring back the good old conversations during meals - explains restaurant director Rowena Shouly. - We often have guests, especially families with children, who do not talk to each other, because their children are constantly on their smartphones.
Unlockable boxes will also be available for purchase, so guests will have the opportunity to try this social experiment at home.
