Rigatoni in a different way - Zuzana Grnja
- 1 package of rigatone pasta
- 350 g of minced meat
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 leek
- 2 dl of cooked tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of marinated flakes
- 200 g of mozzarella
- 50 g of parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- salt (pepper and fresh basil, as needed and to taste)
- Cook the pasta in salted and slightly boiled water to soften it, but not to cook it completely. Then rinse it with cold water and drain.
- Fry the sliced leek in olive oil for a short while, then add the minced meat and spices. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Then add marinated soy flakes and boiled tomatoes. Let it simmer at a low temperature until it thickens (10-15 min.).
- Coat a refractory dish with oil, arrange the pasta vertically and thickly next to each other.
- Pour the meat sauce over the pasta and squeeze as much as possible into the holes of the pasta, then sprinkle with grated mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes, until the cheese melts and acquires color.
- Leave the pasta to cool a little, and then serve it with fresh basil.
