Roll with poppy seeds, ingredients:

  • 8 eggs
  • 3-4 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds
  • ½ baking powder
  • ½ sour cream
  • 200 g of cheese
  • 250 g of chicken ham

Roll with poppy seeds, preparation:

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks. Place the egg yolk in a pan of hot water and cook for 5 minutes (poach). Leave them on a paper napkin to drain the water and save them for filling the rolls. Beat the egg whites with a little salt (in your fingers), add flour and baking powder. Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a well-heated oven for 10 minutes. then reduce the temperature to 180°C and continue baking for another 20 minutes. Remove the paper from the baked hot dough, wrap the roll in a kitchen towel and leave to cool.
  2. Unroll the cooled roll and fill it with filling. Filling: beat ½ of the cream with the cheese so that the cheese does not soften. Grate the ham and combine with sour cream and spread on the roll. Arrange boiled egg yolk in a straight line across the middle of the roll. Wrap the roll, cut into pieces.
  3. Pleasant!
