Zucchini roll - a light and tasty appetizer.

  • 4 pieces of eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 pcs. zucchini
  • 8 rounds of ham (salami)
  • 150 g of cream cheese
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • a teaspoon of salt

Roll base:

  1. Beat the eggs with a mixer, first the whites, add the yolks and beat a little more. Add salt, a spoonful of olive oil, finely chopped basil leaves and flour.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 20 minutes.

  1. Peel the zucchini, grate them coarsely and fry them in heated olive oil.
  2. When the zucchini are fried, remove them from the heat, add cream cheese and sour cream, and mix well with a blender. Put the baked crust on a clean kitchen towel, remove the baking paper and wrap it in a roll.
  3. When the roll has cooled, unroll it. Cover the cooled crust with the prepared filling. Arrange the circles of ham in the middle of the crust and twist the filled crust into a roll using a cloth. Cut the cooled roll into pieces.
