A chicken sandwich is always a hit, especially if you're making a quick lunch or dinner. It is also a great addition to outings and parties. This chicken sandwich recipe is delicious and incredibly quick and easy to make.

To prepare this chicken sandwich, plan on two or three pieces of chicken breast. Also, you can use leftover roast chicken, and you can use canned chicken. All other ingredients are generally found in every kitchen, or you can easily replace them, and you can add other ingredients, if you like more taste. It's a great last minute meal!

For lunch, serve chicken sandwiches and enjoy them with sliced ​​tomatoes, chips or a cup of soup. To make them part of a family dinner, you can serve them with fries and coleslaw or a green salad.

Chicken sandwich, ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups chicken (cooked, shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup celery (finely chopped)
  • 1 large egg (hard-boiled; chopped)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup mayonnaise (as needed for dressing)
  • 1 spoonful of pickled cucumber dessert
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or seasoned salt to taste)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 8 slices of bread
  • green salad

Sandwich with chicken, preparation:

  • Arrange the chicken on the pan and season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160 C. Depending on the size and thickness of the boneless chicken breast, it will take 22 to 28 minutes, i.e. until the chicken is cooked.
  • Allow the chicken to cool and shred.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted, shredded chicken, onion, celery, and egg. Stir to combine.
  • Add 1/3 cup mayonnaise, chopped pickles, salt and pepper to the chicken. Stir to combine well.
  • If desired, add more mayonnaise.
  • Serve on bread with green salad and enjoy.
