Apple roses.

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 4 red apples (3-4 pieces)
  • cinnamon
  • powdered sugar
  1. Squeeze half a lemon and mix with water.
  2. Wash the apples, cut them in half, hollow them out and cut them into thin slices.
    Cover the sliced ​​apples with a mixture of lemon and water and put them in the microwave for 3 minutes, so that they soften and bend more easily. After that, strain them through a strainer.
  3. Roll out half of the puff pastry so that it keeps the shape of the rectangle and cut into 6 equal strips.
  4. Coat the strips with apricot jam and then arrange the apples on the strips, moving one over the other up to half of the strip, but so that the tops of the apples are above the strip.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  5. Lift the lower half of the ribbon and fold it over the apples, then roll it up together with the apples and this way you will get the look of a rose.
    Place the prepared roses in a muffin tin and bake at 180C for 40-45 minutes.
  6. Dust the baked roses with powdered sugar.
