During my reading break, I made this cake. Saher cake, it is made mostly Saher cake, but I made small changes, baked it in a square pan, took out the rings and made a cake.

I'm not in the habit of reading the same book twice, I read Roses for the first time a couple of years ago, now I'm renewing the material again. Once I read a book I never go back to it, this time I made an exception.

What do the red and white roses represent in the book?

Roses is a story of struggle, love and sacrifice, when honor and good manners were the rule.
This novel is read over and over again, in one sitting, you are just sorry to drop it from your hands.

Sacher cake, ingredients:

  • 7 haha,
  • 150 g of butter,
  • 125 g powdered sugar,
  • 200 g of dark chocolate,
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar,
  • 125 g of crystal sugar,
  • a little salt
  • 150 g of flour and
  • 200 g of apricot jam.

Frosting:

  • 200 g of dark chocolate and
  • 4 tablespoons of oil.

Saher cake, preparation:

  • Melt the dark chocolate (steamed).
  • In another bowl, mix softened butter, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix until a creamy mass is formed.
  • Add egg yolks to the mass, one at a time, with constant mixing, until the mass is even.
  • Heat the oven to 180 degrees C. Line a square pan with baking paper.
  • In a bowl, add a pinch of salt and sugar to the egg whites and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • In the mass of chocolate and egg yolks, alternately add a spoonful of egg whites and flour, with gentle mixing. Pour the resulting mass into a baking dish. Bake for about 1 hour.
  • When the crust is ready, take it out to cool.
  • Cut the cooled cake crust lengthwise. Spread apricot jam on the bottom crust.
  • Place the top crust over the spread. Spread the apricot jam on the top crust as well as the outer edge.
  • As soon as the chocolate with the added oil melts, immediately pour the glaze over the cake, and quickly coat the entire cake.
  • Allow the frosting to dry at room temperature, take a round cookie cutter and cut out round cookies or simply cut into cubes.
  • Either way it's great.

Give the guest or guests a red or white rose, or maybe not even one. If I ever offend you, I will send you a red rose as a sign of forgiveness. And if I ever receive such a one, I will return the white rose to show that you are forgiven.
