Little Red Riding Hood Salad - Snezana Kitanović - Recipes and Cookbook online
Little Red Riding Hood salad.
- 300 g of chicken white meat
- 150 g of pasta (spirals)
- 300 g of carrots
- 150 g of hard cheese
- 70 g of roasted peanuts
- 70 g of roasted peanuts (for decoration)
- 4 pieces of eggs
- 300 ml mayonnaise
- 0,5 piece of pomegranate
- parsley (or dill, for decoration)
- Cook the pasta in salted water and strain.
- Beat the white meat, carrots and eggs.
- Cut the white meat, carrots and eggs into small cubes.
- In separate bowls, mix the cooked pasta with part of the mayonnaise and the carrot with the other part.
- Grate the cheese and finely chop or blend the peanuts.
- Remove the seeds from the pomegranate.
- Arrange the ingredients in layers, and press each layer lightly.
- To make the salad look effective, a metal mold or a cut plastic bottle of sour water can be used.
