Lentil and wheat salad - an interesting combination and an even better taste.
- 100 g of wheat
- 100 g of lentils
- 2 price of garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 bunches of spring onions
- 1 tomato
- 1 paprika
- 1 black or red onion
- 3 tablespoons of parsley
- 3 tablespoons of mint
- 3 tablespoons of dill
- 100 ml of olive oil
- grated peel and juice of one lemon
- Cook the wheat according to the instructions and set aside to cool.
- Pour cold water over the shallots, garlic and bay leaves and heat until boiling.
- Lower the temperature, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until soft.
- After that, drain, take out the garlic and bay leaf, then pour into a salad bowl.
- Drain the excess liquid from the wheat, then put it over the lentils.
- Then add chopped spring onion, cleaned of seeds and chopped tomato, pepper, onion and all the spices and mix well.
- Beat the olive oil, lemon peel and lemon juice well until the mass is even. Pour over the salad, mix and leave for about thirty minutes for the flavors to permeate.
