Šapice, old traditional recipes, can also be made with margarine, but as one of my colleagues would say, fat gives a special taste. He is right, with fat, at least for me, they are incomparably more beautiful.

Capice, old traditional recipes, ingredients:

  • 400 g of flour,
  • 100 g semolina,
  • 2 whole eggs,
  • 200 g of pork fat,
  • 150 g of sugar,
  • 3 vanilla sugar and
  • 1 baking powder,
  • powdered sugar.

Shapice, old traditional recipes, preparation:

  • Knead the dough from 400 g of flour, 100 g of semolina, 2 whole eggs, 200 g of fat, 150 g of sugar, 3 vanilla sugars and baking powder.
  • Dip the molds for the cups in flour, fill them with the dough, but not to the top, as they will rise during baking.
  • Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown.
  • Roll the cooled ones in powdered sugar.
  • Keep the baked pawpaws in a metal box with a lid.
