Šapice can be made with margarine, but as one of my colleagues would say, fat gives a special taste. He is right, at least for me, they are incomparably more beautiful with fat. I rolled them in powdered lemon sugar.
Caps, ingredients:
- 400 g of flour,
- 100 g semolina,
- 2 whole eggs,
- 200 g of pork fat,
- 150 g of sugar,
- 3 vanilla sugar and
- half of baking powder.
<strong>Preparation: </strong>
- Knead a dough of 400 g of flour, 100 g of semolina, 2 whole eggs, 200 g of fat, 150 g of sugar, 3 vanilla sugars and half of baking powder.
- Dip the molds for the cups in flour, fill them with the dough, but not to the top, as they will rise during baking.
- Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown.
- Roll the cooled ones in powdered sugar.
