Colorful wafer - Snezana Kitanović - Recipes and Cookbook online
Colorful wafer.
- 250 gr. sugar
- 2 dl of water
- 250 gr. margarine
- 2 spoons of cocoa
- 150 gr. walnuts (ground)
- 150 gr. biscuit (ground)
- 2 wafer sheets
- jam (optional (I used dogwood))
- 400 gr. lean square biscuit ("Zlatni pek" or "Avala")
- Spread both sheets of wafer with jam. Place a biscuit over the jam on one wafer. Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes, add chopped margarine, nuts, cocoa and biscuits. Pour this mixture over the biscuits. Put a biscuit over the mass. Place another wafer over the biscuit so that the jam goes on the biscuit. Place something heavy over the wafer. Cut the next day.
