Sarmice od chard - Jelena Nikolić - Recipes and Cookbook online

Sarmice from Swiss chard.

Chard sardines, ingredients:

  • 400 g of minced meat
  • 100 g of rice
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 20 chard leaves
  • a little oil
  • so
  • spices

Chard sardines, preparation:

  • Boil the washed chard leaves briefly in boiling salted water.
  • Clean and finely chop the onion.
  • Clean and grate the carrot.
  • Fry the minced meat in a little heated oil, add salt, add a cup of water, then onion and carrot and sauté.
  • Clean, wash and drain the rice. Mix it with the meat and season to taste.
  • Put the filling on the Swiss chard leaves, twist the strips and arrange them in a baking tray or in a fireproof dish greased with oil. Pour half a cup of water. Bake for about half an hour in an oven heated to 200C.
  • Serve warm with sour milk. Pleasant!
