Beet, apple, carrot and lemon syrup.

Beetroot, apple, carrot and lemon syrup, ingredients:

  • 1 kg of beets,
  • 1/2 kg of carrots,
  • 1/2 kg of apples,
  • 1/2 kg of lemon,
  • 3 liters of water.

Beetroot, apple, carrot and lemon syrup, preparation:

  • Clean everything and blend with water, everything except lemon.
  • Strain through a thick sieve, then add lemon juice and grated rind of 1 lemon and mix everything.
  • Wash the lemon beforehand with baking soda.
  • Let stand for 1/2 hour, then strain again.
  • Add as much sugar as you have liquid if you want a dissolving syrup or sweeten as desired.
  • Stir to dissolve the sugar, pour into bottles and pasteurize.

All fruits and vegetables are from my garden, not treated with pesticides. It's just a lemon from the grocery store.
