Beet, apple, carrot and lemon syrup.
Beetroot, apple, carrot and lemon syrup, ingredients:
- 1 kg of beets,
- 1/2 kg of carrots,
- 1/2 kg of apples,
- 1/2 kg of lemon,
- 3 liters of water.
Beetroot, apple, carrot and lemon syrup, preparation:
- Clean everything and blend with water, everything except lemon.
- Strain through a thick sieve, then add lemon juice and grated rind of 1 lemon and mix everything.
- Wash the lemon beforehand with baking soda.
- Let stand for 1/2 hour, then strain again.
- Add as much sugar as you have liquid if you want a dissolving syrup or sweeten as desired.
- Stir to dissolve the sugar, pour into bottles and pasteurize.
All fruits and vegetables are from my garden, not treated with pesticides. It's just a lemon from the grocery store.
