Macaroni and cheese is not considered a very healthy meal, but if we add tuna, spices and vegetables to it, we get a great protein meal to build muscle and gain strength for the upcoming workout.

Ingredients needed to prepare the meal:

  • 2 cups macaroni
  • can of tuna
  • 100 g of cheese
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup of corn kernels
  • a couple of parsley leaves
  • half a teaspoon of allspice (hot or sweet, a matter of personal choice)
  • one quarter of a teaspoon of pepper

Meal preparation:

Pour 2 cups of macaroni, half a liter of water and a teaspoon of salt into the pot. Cook on low heat. Meanwhile, chop the cherry tomatoes and mix with the corn. Season the vegetables with paprika and pepper or any other spice you like. When the macaroni is cooked, drain it well and mix it with the cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and combined with them. Once you've done that, add the already prepared vegetables. Then mix everything well again and chop a couple of parsley leaves on top.

We recommend this meal 2 hours before training.
