Scotch pie. Only the shape of the Scottish pie is always traditional - round, 10-15 cm in diameter, 5-10 cm in height.
Part of traditional Scottish dress is the kilt, a skirt made of tartan checkered material and worn with a small pouch over it called a sporan. Custom dictates that a small knife be carried in the sock.
An indispensable instrument at all traditional ceremonies, celebrations, weddings and birthdays, true Scotsmen play bagpipes.
Scotch Pie, Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1dl oil
- 1 dl of milk
- 150g of flour
- 1 bag of dry yeast
- half a teaspoon of salt
- 150g of grated cheese
- 150g of finely chopped pickles
- 150g finely chopped pork loin
- 1 cup flour.
Scotch pie, preparation:
- Beat eggs, add oil, milk, salt, chopped cucumbers, sirloin, cheese, dry yeast and gradually add flour.
- Pour the mass into a greased and floured baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200C for about 20 minutes, until nicely browned.
- It's great both hot and cold.
