Sweet cabbage with baking - this is a very grateful dish, prepared after the holidays. Almost always for major holidays, such as Easter, Christmas and baptism celebrations, we have leftover pieces of baking.

We eat roast for two days and then lose the desire for it. We can use such roasting for this delicious dish.

It doesn't matter what kind of baking it is. It is important that the meat is already cooked. Also, you can use the remaining burgers and kebabs.

Roasted sweet cabbage, ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of fresh cabbage cut into large pieces
  • 300 grams of roast, I used goose roast
  • 3 onions
  • 1 carrot root
  • 1/2 celery root
  • 1 dl of ground tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons of allspice
  • 2 bay leaves
  • some fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 200 grams of pork fat

Sweet cabbage with baking, preparation:

  • Heat the fat on low heat, add coarsely chopped onion, thinly sliced ​​carrot and celery to the ribs.
  • Stew everything together until soft, add minced tomatoes, and simmer for a short time. Then add salt and allspice.
  • At the bottom of the pot in which the cabbage will be cooked, pour 2-3 tablespoons of the sauce. Prepare the cabbage, cut the cabbage into slices.
  • Arrange a row of sliced ​​cabbage over the sprinkle, sprinkle again, over the sprinkled piece of roast.
  • Repeat in this order as long as you have materials. There must be a splash on top.
  • Add more fresh mint and bay leaves.
  • Cover the pot and let it simmer for twenty minutes.
  • It's good to serve broccoli with cabbage.
  • Pleasant!
